UPDATE: (translation from German-language original):
The 1823 m² area was bought by the local Minjan Association in 1874 to establish a cemetery. There are 136 graves in the cemetery and one mass grave in which six Jewish slave laborers are buried. Five of them are unknown by name. The sixth is Samuel Feldheim, a former board member of the Israelite religious community in Szeged. In 1896 the cemetery was enlarged. In 2016 the cemetery was repaired.
