CEMETERY: Located Richtung north about 2 km outside the village of Levern at Landstrasse 770, near the restaurant Jobusch, within the boundaries of the municipality Niedermehnen. Used 1862-1936. Visible gravestones: 36. Between 1800-1850 Leverner Jews buried their dead in Lübbecke (Old Cemetery) and between 1850-1862 in Preußisch Oldendorf. In 1939, they bought the property from a private person and removed 20 older gravestones to the forest area. In 1954, the cemetery has been restored. [Sep 2012]
