48° 54′ 23″ N 07° 39′ 49″ E. (German: Gundershofen). The 1999 population was 3 490. A first synagogue was constructed in 1780. According to an 1843 inventory, it was in poor condition and too small. A new synagogue is built in 1865, now a health center. [January 2008]
